Online mobile phone entertainer, UClub launches UClubbing

UClub is a platform to reach out to cell phone users, and to bring to them a richer mobile experience. As a reward to its loyal members, the portal is offering free entry to the Liquid Soul event, on a first come first serve basis.

"This is the first in a series of events by UClub, featuring various types of music at different hotspots around Dubai. There will be four UClubbing events, including live music shows, which will lead up to the UClub first year anniversary party," said Mira Vara, Content Development Manager - UClub.

The objective of UClubbing is to make UClub one of the most engaging and appealing online communities for teenagers and youth, Vara explained. She added that the portal's aim is to deliver content to a diverse group of users. In line with this, the UClubbing events would delight ranging musical tastes with House, Arabic, Indian and Fusion sounds amongst others to be featured.

While UClub members will always be the first to know about UClubbing events, non-members can log on to UClub's website to register and get timely updates on new UClub-hosted events and special deals.

Currently, UClub provides content suitable for Nokia and Sony Ericsson mobile phones. UClub content consists of polyphonic and monotonic ring tones (Arabic, Hindi, Malyalam, English, Tamil, Tagalog, Pakistani and environmental sounds) including Top 10 listings, colour wallpapers and java games. UClub also features specially designed applications like the Azan for localised prayer timings, and the soon to be launched SMS Kiosk.
