Rezidor SAS appoints Regional Director of Sales and Marketing

Craig, a British national, is a well-known and respected hospitality professional, who brings with him extensive sales and marketing experience gained within the Middle East, Asia and UK.

Married with one son, he started his career with international hotel chains, working for a decade with the Hyatt group. For the last three and a half years he worked with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Group in Bali and Doha, Qatar, as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Jean-Marc Busato, Vice-President Middle East, Rezidor SAS Hospitality, said: "Craig, a renowned industry professional, is joining the team at a time when we are expanding rapidly across the region. It will take someone with his experience, perspicacity and flair to help us drive Radisson SAS and the brands of our parent group, Rezidor SAS Hospitality, further into the core markets of the Middle East.

In his new role he will be responsible for the implementation of the Rezidor SAS multi-brand strategy and extending the sales network. He will also take on responsibility for revenue management, for the group, which includes not only Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts, but also Cerruti, Regent, Country Inn and Park Inn.

Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts operates 12 properties across the Middle East and North Africa, and has ambitious expansion plans across the region. A major new luxurious resort is under construction in Egypt's Al Quseir, while there are plans for two properties on the Jumeirah Beach Palm island development, offshore Dubai, UAE.
