O'Meara wins Desert Classic

US golfer Mark O'Meara won the USD2m Dubai Desert Classic yesterday, his first tournament win in six years, against a strong field including Tiger Woods and Ernie Els. Woods tied for fifth position after finishing with a 68. This year's Desert Classic was a huge success after the post-Iraq war blues of 2003.
