Emaar International Art Symposium flies high on Emirates

Emirates will fly 80 sculptors and painters from more than 50 countries to Dubai this month as sponsor of the Emaar International Art Symposium in which the artists are participating.

Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Executive Director, Retail, Emaar Properties, said: "I'm very glad Emirates is our partner in the promotion of arts and culture in the city and around the world. The Symposium will benefit a great deal with the airline's support. By flying on Emirates, the participating artists will experience Dubai's style of service and hospitality before they arrive in the city."

Salem Obaidullah, Regional Manager (UAE), Emirates, said: "The airline's association with Emaar International Art Symposium is part of our core philosophy to nurture the country's art and culture. We are happy to bring these fine artists and painters to Dubai."

International panels will judge the works the artists produce at the symposium. The best will be exhibited at the Burj Dubai site.
