Based in Beirut, Mr. Attia, who holds an MBA and has nearly 20 years of experience in the tourism and aviation industries, will manage Gulf Air's day-to-day operations in Lebanon.

Formerly regional manager for KLM and Alitalia in Iran and Central Asia, he has, over the last 16 years, developed broad experience in leadership and business administration, including profitability and quality management, customer relations, and sales and marketing.
