"Edu2web actually was a result of years in developing and implementing e-learning projects throughout the region" said Moawia Ali, Vice President e-Arts Consulting FZ LLC.

Edu2web was officially launched at GITEX Dubai 2003 to meet the region's localization requirements in the e-learning industry. Edu2web's LCMS is recognized by ADL to be the first SCORM 1.2 specification adopter system totally developed in the Middle East region and totally supporting Arabic language.

An LCMS essentially helps to manage an organization's learning activities and competencies. The activities managed by the LCMS may vary from instructor-led classroom training to educational seminars and Web-based online training. From an end-user point of view, an LCMS provides an effective way to keep track of individual skills and competencies, and provides a means of easily locating and registering for relevant learning activities to further improve the learner's skill levels. An LCMS also provides access to online courses for which the user registers. Administratively, an LCMS makes it easy to enter, track, manage, and report on learning activities and competencies in an organization.

The Knowledge Village based company is known to be the e-learning developer of the Saudi Arabian curriculums and related management systems and is scheduled to complete the development of the UAE educational interactive curriculums July 2004. "Edu2webTM as all e-arts products will maximize the utilization of education technology in our region to address the issue of investing in systems with affordable investment" said Motaz Salameh, Sales Manager, eArts Consulting FZ LLC.
