UAE ready-mix prices surge

The price of ready-mix concrete in the UAE is up from USD30 per cubic metre seven months ago to USD81, reported MEED. Even USD30 was three times higher than the amount paid in early 2003. Cement price rises are behind the rapid inflation in price of this key building material.
