McDonald's Corporation renews its sponsorship for the Olympic Games

McDonald' Corporation renewed its sponsorship for the Olympic Games through the 2012 Olympic Games, with high positive and cheerful impact on the local GCC markets.
Alsharif Abdallah Alluhaymaq, the Marketing and Communications Director with the McDonald's Middle East Development Company said in an interview: "We are proud of McDonald's Olympic sponsorship, as this will enhance the driving force in encouraging people-especially children, to lead a balanced lifestyle, and to instill in them the love of sports."
He added: "McDonald's has always been a firm promoter for healthy lifestyles, and with the support of the Olympics our messages will better reach all athletic fans in our region and induce them to lead active lifestyle."
Moreover, the agreement was signed during the visit of Jim Cantalupo, Chairman and CEO of McDonald's Corporation to China. The news was highly received and echoed in all McDonald's restaurants all over the world.
McDonald's restaurants serve over 47 million people every day in over 30,000 restaurants, in over 119 countries.
