Dubai expansion reflects regional success for DuPont

From the new premises in the prestigious Emarat Atrium on Sheikh Zayed Road, the DuPont offices have the vital function of supporting both product end users and the company's large network of distributors and agents across the region.

"The Middle East has long been a strategic market for DuPont," explained Tony Azzam, DuPont General Manager in Dubai, continuing: "we see tremendous potential in the region, and with our new offices we are in a strong position to grow the business."

Active in the Middle East since 1980, the DuPont presence in Dubai encompasses three strategic business units: DuPont Surfaces, DuPont Safety Resources Business and DuPont Performance Coatings.

DuPont Surfaces handles the well-known Corian® range of solid surfaces as well as the soon to be launched Zodiaq® Quartz Surfaces. Created by DuPont 35 years ago, Corian® continues to lead the solid surfaces industry in setting new standards, such as the recently introduced anti-bacterial Corian® AB range of surfaces for hospitals and laboratories.

DuPont Safety Resources, the company's second strategic business unit based in Dubai, provides safety consulting services to regional businesses. The unit builds on the more than 30 years experience from around the world during which DuPont has helped thousands of companies in a variety of industries worldwide improve safety and overall business performance.
