Operations appointment at Al Sondos hotels

A native of France, Benois will oversee operations at the 106-suite Al Sondos Suites by Le Meridien, located opposite Deira City Centre, as well as its sister property, the 144-unit Dar Al Sondos Hotel Apartments by Le Meridien in Bur Dubai.

Educated to degree level in France, she started working in the hotel industry at the Hotel Sofitel Port de Sevres, moving to the deluxe Hotel de Crillon as housekeeper supervisor for a three-year stint.

Following a further year in France as assistance executive housekeeper at a hotel in St Paul de Vence, Benois opted for a move overseas, transferring to Le Royal Meridien in Bahrain in a similar position.

Her Dubai posting has given Benois the opportunity to supervise the hotel operations of two properties, a role she is looking forward to with enthusiasm.

'Dubai is very much the hotspot of hotel development in the Middle East, and it is a very exciting time to be here,' she said. 'Our city apartment facilities are constantly busy, and it will be challenging to provide a service that meets the requirements of our multi-cultural clientele - but one that is already proving to be very fulfilling.'
