His Excellency Minister Jean Louis Cordahy inaugurates Inmarsat Partner Conference

Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Jean Louis Cordahy, Minister of Telecommunications of the Republic of Lebanon, Inmarsat Ltd., the Total Communications Network and the world's leading global mobile satellite communications company, opened the second annual Middle East and Africa Regional Partner Conference in Beirut. Partners from around the world are attending the three day conference held from March 8th to 10th at the Movenpick Hotel & Resort.
"We are delighted to have Inmarsat's partner conference here in Beirut," said His Excellency Mr. Jean Louis Cordahy. "Beirut is continually advancing its technological infrastructure and Inmarsat's decision to hold its event here, is a clear demonstration of their commitment to drive forward communications in Lebanon," concluded His Excellency.
The objective of the three day conference is to further the relationship between Inmarsat and its partners. Specifically, various workshops will be held in order to develop partners' understanding of Inmarsat's services such as Regional BGAN, a lightweight mobile solution for reliable, high-speed data communications, which offers the mobile user a level of connectivity that is faster than terrestrial GPRS services from virtually anywhere in 99 countries across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Eastern Europe.
Inmarsat's partners will be able to participate in a variety of interactive sessions and technical clinics. Additionally, delegates will be introduced to the wide range of support services, designed to make their Inmarsat related development and marketing efforts effective and impactful.
