Islamic Azad University opens its Dubai Campus

Islamic Azad University (IAU) - Dubai Campus, based in Knowledge Village, was officially inaugurated today by Professor Abdollah J. Jassbi, President of the University, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Aziz Bin Othman Al Tuwajri - Director General of the Islamic Council for Education, Culture and Science (ISESCO) and the Secretary General of Federation of Universities of Islamic World (FUIW), the Chancellor of IAU - Dubai Campus, prominent Iranian officials, VIPs, professors, parents, students and press.
IAU Dubai Campus is currently offering Bachelor degrees in Business Management, Computer Engineering Software and courses for an Associate Social Diploma. The University will soon offer a wider range of fields including Bachelor Degrees in Architecture, Masters Degrees (Business Management and others) and short term courses in Management, IT and English Language.
Furthermore, in a move to expand its campuses around the world and build upon its reputation as one of the best higher education institutions in the region, IAU is associated with major educational associations such as the International Association of Universities (IAU), International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) and the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW).
IAU was licensed to set-up its Dubai Campus in July 2003 and currently has more than 200 students enrolled. Classes are offered in the state-of-the-art spacious classrooms using the latest technologies for research and development.
