Hisham Amili, Mitel's Regional Sales Director, said: 'As Mitel expands in the region we have to be mindful of the important role of the indirect channel organizations and to keep them abreast of Mitel's developments and latest products available in the market.'
The industry in the region is changing fast and the telecommunications aspect has been undergoing noticeable changes due to the rapid emergence and adoption of IP telephony
The channels are eager to sell convergence that enables organisations and end users to experience real business benefits and move onto the next-generations communications whilst still protecting their existing equipment.
The seminar, attended by Mitel's senior product, sales and marketing executives, flying from the UK exclusively for the purpose, will focus on the respective areas of these disciplines: Mitel Networks 3300 Intergrated Communications Platforms, Product Road Map, Sales and Marketing support.
'We will be focusing on three aspects in our training: Product Road Map, Marketing Support and Sales,' explained Mr Amili.
Gary Briscombe, Mitel's Director for the Middle East and Africa will be leading the seminars with an overview of Mitel's year to date performance, as well as sharing industry developments and Mitel's recent VoIP penetrations,' said Amili.
Two of Mitel's Product managers will be training the Channel on Mitel Network's 3300ICP and the 6100 Contact Centre Solution. The 3300 ICP provides enterprises with a highly scalable, feature-rich communications system designed to support businesses from 30-30,000 users.

'We want to present to our channels what is available to them as Accredited Channel Partners, including marketing support, sales tools, technical support competitive analysis and of course give them in-depth knowledge on our products.
