Dubai Metro by 2009

The first USD3.9bn line of the Dubai Metro will open in 2009, with construction starting this October, officials told a press conference. The driverless, automatic trains will have a first class compartment, and women and children's section. There will be 35 stations on the first 50km Red Line.
