OgilvyOne tops tally of 2003 creative awards

In 2003, OgilvyOne worldwide collected more creative awards than any other one-to-one marketing agency in the world.

A worldwide total of 449 local, regional and global awards were received, a record even by OgilvyOne's standards. OgilvyOne Middle East contributed to the overall tally with international awards being received for work conducted for Jumeirah International including The Noodle House, The Satori Spa and for Wild Wadi, as well as their own self-promotion. They also received nominations for a recent American Express "Blue" campaign.

"It is fantastic that OgilvyOne Middle East has played a significant role in securing another award-winning year for the network. As we are the strongest, most experienced and most highly awarded one-to-one marketing network in the world, the pressure was on us to maintain our position and constantly produce exceptional work," commented James Duthie, Managing Director, OgilvyOne Middle East.

"Globally, we rose to the occasion and have certainly set ourselves set yet another challenging target for 2004. I'm confident that the OgilvyOne Middle East team will again contribute to the worldwide awards tally this year," he added.

Demonstrating equal expertise in both on-line and off-line channels, the split between the awards won across the world was almost even, with off-line accolades just tipping the scale at 53 percent of the total tally.

Nearly 40 percent of the awards were won for global clients, underlining OgilvyOne's truly global offering. Campaigns conducted for long-time clients American Express and IBM yielded 36 awards each.
