Isaacs, who has 18 years of travel industry experience, was previously national training manager at the Hertz franchisee in her native South Africa.
She started her career in 1986 as a hotel trainee manager, and then moved to Imperial Car Rental, one of the largest car rental companies in South Africa, where she started as a rental sales agent before becoming area manager.
'Hertz UAE has been growing at an impressive rate over the years with the company's fleet increasing by more that 100 per cent in 2003 and its workforce reaching 160 people,' said Bob Farrow, general manager of Hertz UAE, which is part of the Al-Futtaim Group
'We intend to achieve this and more and Sarah will have a crucial role to play in our plans as she will be making sure we hire the best people and maximise each employee's potential.'
Hertz UAE welcomes new HR Manager
Sarah Isaacs has been appointed Human Resources Manager of Hertz UAE, which has 13 car rental branches throughout the Emirates.
