The winning product, the i-mate™ Pocket PC, is part of the next generation of mobile telephones based on Microsoft® Windows Mobile™ Pocket PC, Phone Edition software. It incorporates both GSM and GPRS radio technology with 128MB RAM, 64MD ROM and Bluetooth compliance. CEO and Founder of i-mate™, Jim Morrison, accepted the award from Mr.Vifhesh Bahatia - Managing Director of Al Futtaim Electronics. "The level of innovation and technological development in the wireless telephony industry is phenomenal, and as such it is a great honour to be recognised in this category" said Mr. Morrison.
