Capital Police to launch the annual 'Traffic Week' at Marina Mall

Ministry of Interior and General Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police will be launching the annual Traffic Week at Marina Mall on Saturday, March 20, 2004.
Marina Mall has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Police on the 'Traffic Week' event. The activity highlights on the Mall's involvement in community events such as this which are geared at enhancing programmes and events planned aimed at increasing traffic education and awareness among both the UAE citizens and foreign residents of Abu Dhabi.
Traffic Week is designed to create awareness and informative field campaigns are held throughout the GCC states. The event at Marina Mall will feature various exhibits highlighting the roles played by organizations such as the municipality, civil defense and police medical services in road safety. A professionally supervised model road network with toy cars and motorbikes will be set up outside the Mall for children to become acquainted with road rights.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Major General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Traffic Week will feature daily programmes and activities from 9:30am to 1pm and 5pm to 9:30pm at Marina Mall till March 26, 2004.
