As a result the first three days of the show have witnessed a much wider cross section of visitors from the UAE and the GCC region, both local and expatriate, who have come to take a look at not just the big name cruisers, yachts, speed boats, equipment, fixtures and fishing tackle, but also to experience the buzz and sheer high-spiritedness of the whole show which exudes a festival feel.

The Boat Show this year has been designed to offer a variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Conventionally boating provided the perfect escape - an enjoyable and comforting way to spend quality time with family and friends for the affluent, but now that boats are becoming more affordable, boating is becoming an activity that is compatible with virtually any budget and provides the ideal opportunity for great family adventures out of doors and a welcome break away from the harsh realities of everyday life.

The latest and greatest products for the marine enthusiast are on display at the show including ultra-modern electronics, navigational systems, global mobile satellite communications, marine radios & receivers, depth finders, engines, generators, radios, hardware, maps, diving equipment, nautical gear and much more.

For kids to thoroughly enjoy themselves at the event Toys R Us have created a kid's corner to engage children's minds and curiosity, stimulating learning through fun and games.

SCATRI are introducing show visitors to an incredibly realistic sports fishing simulator created by a team of people who know both big game fishing and the sea.
