Nominations complete for Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Arab Management

Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Arab Management has announced the completion of the nominations.
Mohammed Al Emadi, Manager of Corporate Communications for the Arab Management Award said, "The large number of entries for the award this year reflects the position that the award has attained in the Arab world. It also highlights H.H General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision in raising the level of professionalism in Arab organisations and institutions and encouraging healthy competition and cooperation between the public and private sectors."
He added, "The number of applicants has increased by 50% this year with balanced participation by both the Government and Private sectors."
Al Emadi said that the coming years will witness an implementation of the principles of the Award which will reflect on the development of the Arab business environment.
A team of experts in Quality Management, Human Resource Development, Information technology and other related fields has reviewed the applications.
Evaluation process includes field visits to authorities, organisations and departments participating in the Award to interview the candidates and ensure that each nominee is accurately assessed. The evaluation process is highly confidential.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Arab Management is an effective means of developing Arab management and upgrading administrative and professional practice in Arab establishments. Some of the categories in which the Award is presented includes: Excellent Arab Employee, Excellent Arab Organisation, Excellent Arab Management Initiative, Excellent Arab Government Organisation, Excellent Arab Manager, Excellent Arab Manager( Female).
