Al Jazeera Airways approval

The Kuwait Cabinet has approved the launch of the emirate's first private airline, Al Jazeera Airways. Last November the Kuwait Government decided to allow the establishment of low-fare carriers. Founders can own 30 per cent of the shares in such companies, while the rest must be sold in an IPO.
