Air Arabia appoints Kuwait Manager

Air Arabia LLC, UAE's national airline and first low-cost airline of its kind in the Middle East & North Africa region, today announced the appointment of its Manager for Kuwait - Kawkab Khan.
An Indian national, Khan is well fitted for the role with her regional aviation and corporate service background. From her experiences with Kuwait Airways as Senior Sales Officer from 1979 to 1990 and British Airways in Kuwait from 1991 to 2003 as Sales & Marketing Support Executive and Account Executive, Khan has a vast knowledge of the aviation field and region for which to develop the Air Arabia concept within Kuwait.
Khan will be responsible for developing existing and new business opportunities through raising customer awareness, visibility and effective communication of Air Arabia within its Kuwait operations. She will also work towards increasing Air Arabia's distribution channels - ultimately to offer a superior, but yet accessible product to the people of this region.
"Joining the Air Arabia team as it continues its growth throughout the region and neighbouring countries is an exciting prospect," said Khan. She added: "Applying industry and regional expertise that I have accumulated to the Air Arabia business model is a challenge I am looking forward to."
Air Arabia is a Sharjah government-owned airline which is currently flying from Sharjah to Bahrain daily, Beirut four days a week, Damascus three days a week, Kuwait three days a week, Muscat five days a week, Alexandria three days a week, Assiut two days a week, Aleppo two days a week, Doha five days a week, Colombo three days a week, Shiraz twice a week and Tehran three times a week.
