- PRESS RELEASE
Emirates Internet & Multimedia (EIM), the ISP Business Unit of Etisalat, announced today that it had provided an online live broadcast to the 7th International Conference for Scientific Miracles in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah, which started in Dubai yesterday.
Using state-of-the-art video streaming technology, EIM will broadcast the whole 3-day busy-schedule event from mornings till late evenings over the Internet. Internet users will stay updated in real time with all lectures delivered by prominent Muslim scholars and will experience unparalleled clarity of picture and sound. The service is provided free of charges to users who simply need to login to the www.eim.ae or www.albahhar.ae and press the fixed dedicated button to enjoy the online live broadcast of the Conference.
"The service we are providing today is based on a strong video streaming infrastructure which has been operational since more than two years," commented Abdulla Hashim, Senior Manager Business Development & Sales, EIM. "In the past, we installed similar webcast links to online viewers in several occasions including the previous editions of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, Best Tales of the Holy Quran and the Islamic Scienific Course in Sharjah."
The content of the conference will be accessible at all times as it will be stored in EIM's video streaming archives. People who missed to follow the conference or those who need to view particular topics later on can go to EIM website or Albahhar portal and find what they are looking for.
The conference's archived videos will be added to the video library of Albahhar's Islamic channel. The rich library consists of lectures on the prophets' tales delivered by leading Islamic scholars, lectures on Islamic jurisprudence and teachings, in addition to discussion forums, Islamic achieves, prayers' timings and more useful links.
"The new video archive in our Islamic channel will soon represent a living history. Regardless of geography and time, Internet users from all around the globe can easily watch and listen to the lectures and debates took place during this important Islamic conference from the comfort of their homes," concluded Abdulla Hashim.
The Islamic channel is a new family member in Albahhar portal, a rich bilingual portal that carries news, Arabic literature and poetry and chat services, among an array of other useful options such as jokes, career information and a regional classified section in both English and Arabic. EIM deploys the world-class technologies and add more channels to enhance the content that appeals to all users and make all information on Albahhar easy to access and use.
