Galileo Emirates hosts Middle East's first Solutions Seminar

More than 40 senior airline managers from the Gulf attended the first Solutions Seminar on travel held in the Middle East.
Topics on the agenda included e-commerce, airline fares, reservations and global distribution in an initiative by Galileo to review trends and developments and increase awareness of potential future benefits at a time when the industry faces major commercial challenges.
Delegates heard presentations by Ian Epps, Fazal Muhammed and Robin Ranken from Galileo International, Ian Griffiths from ATPCo, Debbie Matheson from Shepherd Systems, Baldev Virdi from OAG, Johnny Thorsen from Travelport and Sandeep Vohra from IGTS.
Mr Epps, Galileo's Senior Account manager, Airline Business Development Europe, Middle East and Africa said: "The Middle East is an important area of commercial development, and with this event we hope to underpin the success of our regional airline customers."
