Emaar supports international conference on horse racing

Emaar Properties is a sponsor of the 15th International Conference of Racing Analysts and Veterinarians (ICRAV) being held under the patronage of H.H General Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE Minister of Defense.
This event is being held in association with the Official Racing Chemists and the International Group of Specialists Racing Veterinarians, both non-profit organisations.
Emaar Properties, the region's largest real estate developers in the Middle East has more than a dozen lifestyle developments under various stages of completion, among which is the Arabian Ranches, a unique equestrian and golf themed development.
Emaar is also sponsoring the US$250,000 Dubai Kahyla Classic horse race, part of the prestigious Dubai World Cup 2004 to be run on Saturday March 27 2004 at Nad Al Sheba.
"We are proud to be associated with the ICRAV which maintains the integrity of horse racing and ensures the welfare of animals involved. As developers of the equestrian and golf themed development Arabian Ranches and sponsors of the Dubai Kahyla Classic race in the Dubai World Cup, we understand the importance of having such events," said Mansour Al Othaimin, Corporate Director, Sales & Marketing, Emaar Properties.
Over 300 delegates - scientists, veterinarians and administrators from all over the world are attending this conference. Previous conferences have developed a world wide reputation of scientific quality such as those held in Florida (2002), England (2000), British Colombia, Canada (1998), Australia (1996), Sweden (1994), Louisiana (1992), South Africa (1990), Kentucky (1988) and Hong Kong (1985).
