- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, March 28 - 2004 at 09:46
- PRESS RELEASE
Danube Building Materials, one of the leading building materials manufacturer and supplier in Jebel Ali, has signed a two million deal with ETA, the construction major in Dubai, for the supply of timber for the latter's Springs Project.
"ETA, one of the oldest and leading joinery in Dubai, considered the volatility of timber prices and scarcity of supply in signing the four-month contract," said Mr. Khanna.
Danube procures timber in bulk, kiln dries it before supplying it to ETA. The kiln drying process removes the moisture from the timber, is being done at Danube's facility in Jebel Ali.
Apart from the kiln drying equipment, Danube's other value added facilities in their Jebel Ali plant include a Melamine MDF plant, kitchen shutter manufacturing, veneer pressing, UV lacquer coating on wood and veneer, CNC routing and manufacturing of other furniture components.
Danube also supplies to ETA other woods and MDF products for use in major ongoing projects.
