The meeting aimed at arranging presentations to provide accurate and up-to date information to the travel and tourism bodies.

DTCM Operations and Marketing, Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb who chaired the meeting said that a strategy was developed for the representatives of projects to give presentations to managers in the hospitality and tourism sector of the emirate. "Both Hotels and tour operators will be invited to these presentations to provide them with relevant information, which will be incorporated in their promotional plans and strategies," said Mr. bin Hareb.

He noted that the department participates in the overseas events with property developers and industry representatives as a team and it is always important that the information disseminated by the Dubai team be standard. "The dissemination of information to potential investors and visitors should be factual and up-to date. Holding such presentations foster better understanding about development projects. This will in turn help the participants in conveying the right message to the overseas tour operators, investors, and general public," said Mr. bin Hareb.

Presentations will cover the new and upcoming projects including The Palm, Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Islands, Dubai Medical City, Dubailand, Dubai Festival City, Madinat Jumeirah, and Expansion of Dubai International Airport and many others.
