Prominent professionals from the public and private sector have been lined up including Abdulhakeem Thani from Al Futtaim Training who will be speaking about the retail trade, Salah Al Halyan of Gulf Insurance talking about the insurance business, Dr. Omar Al Sulaiman from Dubai internet City who will enlighten the audience about Information Technology, Dr Amina Al Marzouqi from Sharjah University who will be commenting about Health and the Community and Khalifia Buamain from the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing who will speak about the hospitality and tourism industry.

This forum will provide students and prospective job seekers an opportunity to interact with the above professionals who will share the knowledge about their careers during the forum.

Separate sessions will be held for girls and boys and enough time will be given during each session to allow attendees to derive information and gain the views and experiences on issues related to their industry and operations.

Forum discussions allow students to conduct in-depth discussions on trends and gauge knowledge before entering a relevant field. The speakers will share their own experiences with the students and identify critical issues and obstacles they face in their careers as well as make recommendations to the students.

Careers UAE 2004 (April 6th to 8th), has received strong participation from different sectors of the industry. The event provides job opportunities for professionally qualified UAE nationals and effectively creates an exceptional niche for itself by playing a central role in the nation's drive for Emiratisation.

Banks and financial institutions in addition to MNCs have used the event to recruit qualified UAE nationals in the past.

The event is organised in conjunction with the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), The National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority (TANMIA), Zayed University and UAE University and has moved to the DWTC exhibition halls this year.

Alongside the exhibition itself, there will be a full programme of forums, presentations, discussion groups and industry panels, giving the exhibitors more opportunities to target their message to visiting students, graduates and prospective jobseekers.

The rapid expansion of the UAE economy in recent years has resulted in an unprecedented growth in demand for highly qualified professionals. Careers UAE provides a unique opportunity for exhibitors to support their recruitment efforts by providing them with a forum to meet and exchange information with national job seekers who have a vast range of skills, educational qualifications and work experience.
