EDUTECH builds region-wide information infrastructure using Exact Software

EDUTECH developed the new infrastructure as part of an integrated business upgrade, designed to ensure that it could efficiently manage the exchange of business information between offices in Dubai Internet City, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and India.

The company, which provides schools, colleges, universities, government departments and enterprises in the region with training and learning material, invested in the upgrade so that it could provide consistently high standards across the large geographical region in which it does business.

"Demand for educational resources is rising rapidly in the Middle East and India, fuelled by both population increases and the need for companies to be more internationally competitive," said Monojit Ghose, finance and operations controller, Eductech.

"EDUTECH's customer base has grown exponentially over the past year, and in order to manage the resulting boost to our business - and manage the expansion of the learning resources made available to customers - we required an internal infrastructure that could share information equally across all our offices," added Ghose.

The ERP solution enables EDUTECH to enhance and monitor its relations with its business partners, provides instant information on educational solutions, and links back office processes such as finances and human resources to its customer-facing operations.
