Mercedes-Benz global executive opens state-of-the-art facility

Gargash Enterprises L.L.C., the Mercedes-Benz General Distributor for DaimlerChrysler AG in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, officially opened their new 'state of the art' Body and Paint Centre in Dubai in the presence of Professor Jurgen Hubbert, leading member of the Board of Management of DaimlerChrysler Mercedes Car Group.
"Mercedes-Benz has built a solid reputation for high quality products, services and facilities. This Gargash Enterprises initiative clearly demonstrates the global benchmark that Mercedes-Benz has set in customer service, satisfaction and product excellence," said Professor Hubbert.
Handling every type of repair from a small scratch, to the largest and most extensive collision damage, the Gargash Body and Paint Centre can now offers the very best in repair technology offering customers the highest standards of excellence and efficiency.
Eddie Blissett, Body and Paint Project Manager, Gargash Enterprises, said, "Gargash Enterprises has built up a solid reputation for high quality products, services and facilities. This latest initiative will epitomise the standards we are setting in customer service, satisfaction and product excellence. Now officially opened this Gargash facility comes fully equipped with highly skilled professionally trained technicians whose single aim is to guarantee the highest standards of excellence by producing a first class quality repair completed within a minimum timeframe."
The workshop has been equipped with the same technology used by the UK based MacLaren's Formula One Team in the production of their new and exciting SLR model. The facility boasts the latest in body and paint technology, and is equipped with a number if the world-renowned Lutro spray booths and ovens which as designed for optimum efficiency and for maximising work output whilst saving on energy costs and which can process up to an impressive 35 vehicles per day.
Not just the owners of the Mercedes-Benz cars will benefit. The UAE environment looks set to improve also. The Body and Paint Facility has adopted the latest in eco-efficient waterborne paint technology. Its low solvent paint system will dramatically reduce the harmful release of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) into the UAE environment by up to 90 per cent.
In addition HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spraying equipment, infrared drying units, and the latest tooling and welding expertise, will assist to complete the repair process and make this facility one of the most environmentally friendly in the UAE. No other body and paint companies have taken such positive steps and Gargash Enterprise hope to sets a positive new trend in relation to the environmental issues which surround car repairs.
