To celebrate the Arab World's first Grand Prix in Bahrain, F1 fans can log on to www.mb-me.com/f1 and get up-to-date news, track information and background details on the Mercedes McLaren F1 team, its drivers and the new MP4-19 car.

Newcomers to Formula 1 can find everything to help make the sport more enjoyable such as the rules, background information on Mercedes-Benz heritage in the sport and information on the fantastic new SLK 55 AMG safety car.

The most innovative part of the site developed in-house and by Flip Media of Dubai, is the ability to download 3D versions of the 18 worldwide F1 race tracks, including Bahrain, and drive them 'virtually'.

"It's almost as good as being behind the wheel of a F1 car," said Steffen Baumann, Sales and Marketing Director, Mercedes-Benz Passenger Car Group, Dubai. "In fact the whole site is a window into the fascinating world of Formula One that will attract over 300 million viewers from 170 countries to Bahrain on April 4."
