Dubai Development and Investment Authority announces participation in the Careers UAE 2004

Dubai Development and Investment Authority (DDIA) has announced its participation in the Careers UAE 2004 to be held from 6th to 8th April, 2004.

This initiative aims to provide employment opportunities and support the youth through establishments such as the Dubai Development and Investment Authority, Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubailand and the Dubai Humanitarian City.

Khalid Malik Al Malik, Operations Manager at Dubai Development and Investment Authority said, "The Careers UAE 2004 aims to contribute to the economic growth process in the country with the support of the Dubai Development & Investment Authority, as human capital is one of the most important pillars of the development of a country."

Al Malik added, "DDIA is committed to providing all possible support to the Exhibition as it is in line with its overall strategy to create a more conducive environment for work, foreign investments and technological developments."

He said that the youth in the UAE enjoy better opportunities of success and the Exhibition aims at offering new avenues to pursue their goals.

Al Malik pointed out that the role of DDIA in the Exhibition will not be merely participation but that the Authority will also supervise recruitment for its subsidiaries.

Careers UAE 2004 will be held at hall 5 and 6 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre. Careers UAE Exhibition does not only concentrate on bringing jobseekers and professional employers in touch with each other but also provides a viable platform for companies and institutions from both the private and public sectors to meet with and source the best talent available in the market.
