Careers UAE 2004 build-up begins
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, April 03 - 2004 at 15:50
- PRESS RELEASE
The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Complex was a abuzz with activity as build-up began for the 2004 edition of Careers UAE, the country's largest and most dedicated career fair that helps generate employment opportunities for UAE nationals.
Stand contractors were busy conveying instructions as the insides of the halls resounded to the sounds of hammers and drills as the exhibitors' stands began to take shape, setting the stage for a more comprehensive event this year.
Careers UAE 2004 has received strong participation from different sectors of the industry. The event provides job opportunities for professionally qualified UAE nationals and effectively creates an exceptional niche for itself by playing a central role in the emirate's drive for emiratization. Banks and financial institutions alongside MNCs have used the event to recruit qualified UAE nationals in the past.
Alongside the exhibition itself, there will be a full programme of forums, presentations, discussion groups and industry panels, giving the exhibitors more opportunities to target their message to visiting students, graduates and prospective jobseekers.
The rapid expansion of the UAE economy in recent years has resulted in an unprecedented growth in demand for highly qualified professionals. Careers UAE provides a unique opportunity for exhibitors to support their recruitment efforts by providing them with a forum to meet and exchange information with national job seekers who have a vast range of skills, educational qualifications and work experience.
The event is organised by the DWTC in conjunction with the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), The National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority (TANMIA), Zayed University and UAE University.
