EPSON appoints Jumbo Electronics as its 'Authorised Distributor and Service Provider' for UAE

This came shortly after the company was awarded for "Outstanding Achievement 2003" by Epson Middle East in recognition of the excellent business results generated for Epson products.

Mr. Michael Hunt, Director International Sales and Mr. Khalil El - Dalu, General Manager Epson Middle East presented the award. Jumbo Electronics was chosen amongst a number of Epson Partners in the entire Middle East.

Highlighting Jumbo's strengths, Mr Khalil El - Dalu said, "The twin recognition comes due to Jumbo's active engagement with channel partners, logistics capability and sustained marketing acumen. We are confident that our market share will continue to grow through Jumbo's concerted efforts in building awareness for new segments such as photo printing and multifunction devices."

Mr. Arvind Agrawal General Manager - IT Group, Jumbo Electronics LLC, added, "This new alliance will enable Epson to leverage our comprehensive Service Setup and special value adds for our consumers such as Free Insurance, Easy Installment Scheme, Delivery and Installation Option, Genuine World Class post-sales service etc."

He further elaborated that the alliance would also consolidate the growth of IT Distribution business while offering technologically superior and industry benchmark products to the company's vast network of channel partners in the UAE.

The Distribution and Service Agreement encompasses the complete range of Printers (Dot Matrix, Inkjet, Photo Smart and Laser), Multi Function Devices, Digital Cameras, Scanners and Consumables.

Jumbo Electronics LLC has service centers in all the seven Emirates and is the only IT Company to offer this facility.
