Bang & Olufsen, the globally renowned Danish producer of world-class audio and video equipment, is forging ahead with a rapid expansion programme across the Middle East, with the opening today of its first stand-alone store in Abu Dhabi.
"We are thrilled to be involved in the unveiling of this dedicated B&O store. The new B1 concept represents B&O's worldwide standards in store design, with the company's advanced products showcased in a stimulating yet relaxing atmosphere," said Ramesh Prabhakar, Managing Director, Bang & Olufsen Middle East.
"The Abu Dhabi Mall is the perfect location in the capital to exhibit the brand's product range. We're confident that our customers will appreciate the store's welcoming and intimate environment," said Ivan Joseph, Managing Director, Mabraz Electronics.
The product range is displayed to create an at-home ambience, where customers can experience the product's performance first-hand. Trained and experienced personnel are on hand to give detailed, informal demonstrations, while a comprehensive after-sales service is also available.
The new Abu Dhabi premises will stock B&O's outstanding audio and video products including the latest arrivals - the BeoVision 3, a high-quality 32" Real Flat television, and the
BeoLab 2 subwoofer which powerfully reproduces low-frequency sound from a specially designed cabinet.
The B1 retail concept is founded on understatement, with each element of a B&O store created to ensure the customer receives the best possible impression of the brand. From the discreet, sleek façade with fibre optic lettering through to the simple yet stylish shop layout, B1 environments are accessible and welcoming. It projects an air of excellence through carefully researched colour schemes and the selective use of quality materials.
B&O plans to operate 20 standalone mono-brand stores in the region within the next three years, including new openings in the UAE, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait over the next three months. The company has a strong presence in Saudi Arabia with three branded stores, and one each in Bahrain, Kuwait, the UAE and Egypt.
"Bang & Olufsen is moving in a solid direction, and we've proven that we're on the right track. We're now looking at a sustained and healthy organic growth," said Jesper Sander Andersen, Regional Manager, Bang & Olufsen Middle East.
Bang & Olufsen offers exclusive, lifestyle products designed to make life easier and more comfortable for its quality conscious high-end customers, particularly in this region.
