- PRESS RELEASE
Audi and Fouad Alghanim announced the official opening of a new Audi showroom in Kuwait.
The new partnership is designed to increase Audi's presence in Kuwait and deliver on the increasing demand for Audi's unique range of luxurious, yet powerful vehicles. Despite the instability faced by the region at the start of 2003, Audi experienced growing demand, particularly in the high-end category following the introduction of the new A8 to the market.
Commenting on the new partnership, Mr. Fouad M.T. Alghanim, chairman of the Fouad Alghanim company said, "Audi and Fouad Alghanim share a thirst for excellence, high standards of integrity and a relentless focus on the customers' needs. Together we pledge to enhance the consumers' overall experience and enjoyment of the Audi brand in Kuwait".
The Fouad Alghanim Audi showroom is the first step in an aggressive development strategy for Kuwait. In the coming months, Fouad Alghanim will begin preparations on an exclusive, state-of-the-art facility, which will become the latest in a series of newly built Audi Centres across the Middle East.
The Audi Centre, which will be located in the same area as the current showroom, provides a totally fresh approach to sales and service, offering Audi's valued customers a one-stop, first class service at no-frills prices.
"In 2003, Audi enjoyed another year of positive growth in the Middle East and with an enhanced network of distributors, we look forward to capitalising on this success and increasing our market-share significantly over the coming years," said Ali Bilaloglu, managing director, Audi Middle East and Egypt. "In opening this showroom, Fouad Alghanim has demonstrated their clear commitment to the Audi marque and we look forward to a very successful partnership in Kuwait".
