H.H. Sheikha Manal explained to Her Majesty what the club has accomplished during the short period since its official opening four months ago. She also highlighted the important task of the Club in strengthening the role of the Emarati Woman in the society.
H.H. Sheikha Manal said, 'Her Majesty Queen Rania's visit to the Club is of great importance as it puts the Dubai Ladies Club on the regional map. Her Majesty's support to the Arab Women issues and her continuous encouragement to women's activities complements the Club's goal of empowering women in the country and the region to play an active role in their communities.'
Mona Al Marri, Vice President, Dubai Ladies Club, Ayesha Butti, Executive Manager, Dubai Ladies Club, Sana Suhail, Najla Al Awar, DLC Members of the Board and other prominent women personalities were present at the Dubai Ladies Club to welcome Her Majesty Queen Rania.
Queen Rania took this opportunity to look at the Dubai Ladies Club facilities and was briefed about its activities that are aimed at catalyzing the role of the Emarati Woman and increasing her contribution to society.
Her Majesty Queen Rania expressed her appreciation for the programmes and activities that the Club has organized for women and children.
'The Artistic Hands' exhibition showcases a variety of handicrafts and embroidered traditional and contemporary home furnishings and accessories, gift items and fashion accessories that are inspired by the Jordanian heritage.

H.H. Shiekha Manal Bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Ladies Club met yesterday Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan during the inauguration of 'The Artistic Hands' exhibition organized by The Jordan River Foundation (JRF) at the Dubai Ladies Club Art and Talent Centre.
