The exhibition had 95 drawings and photographs made by 50 students from 26 schools in Dubai.
The DTCM Officer Events, Shaikha Ebrahim Al Mutawa, who represented the department at the event, said the exhibition gave an opportunity to young talents to showcase their skills. "We provided a broad platform to students to project their inner feelings and expressions in the form of art. The participants made an impressive display of knowledge about their selected country's heritage and past in artistic form," said Ms. Al Mutawa.
She noted that the event not only explored the talents of young minds but also gave an opportunity to the department to support one of the prominent features of tourism, which is heritage. "Preserving history is one of the foremost aim of the DTCM and engaging the future generation to understand and appreciate the past of the region has made the event more special," said Ms. Al Mutawa.
The event also showcased paintings made by children with special needs.
