- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, April 11 - 2004 at 13:20
- PRESS RELEASE
Leading executive Martin Wright has been appointed Regional Operations Manager in the Gulf by TNT, the world's leading business to business express carrier.
Wright comes to his Dubai-based position with the Dutch-owned integrator after a decade with TNT in Singapore. As well as working in Europe and Australasia, he has extensive experience in the Middle East, primarily in Bahrain, Lebanon and Jordan.
Wright says part of TNT's function is to "work as closely as possible with Emirates, which has grown so extensively and professionally and also to benefit from the growth of Dubai as a regional hub." He adds: "When it comes to operations in our industry TNT is number one. No other company in our field can equal TNT in terms of service performance. This stems from the fact that we have invested so extensively in recent years in technology and our people.
"Indeed, TNT is the first company to achieve global recognition as an Investor in People (IiP). Staff satisfaction and service quality go together."
