New soft drink 'Dew' in the GCC

Mountain Dew is the latest product to be launched in the Gulf by PEPSICO Beverages International (PBI). The product also hits the market with a radical new look, in the form of a new-size, non-returnable glass bottle.
"We are particularly delighted to reveal that 'dew' to the popularity of Mountain Dew in many markets, where it ranks #1 in Oman where it is currently sold, we are able to showcase this new look ahead of many other regions in the world."
Designed to further increase Mountain Dew's appeal among consumers across the Gulf, the distinctive green bottle breaks the tradition of soft drinks bottles as it comes with a sleek new appearance, which will set it out from all other soft drinks on supermarket shelves.
The new 330ml bottle, which will be available with a resealable closure and traditional crown, is the result of extensive research across the globe.
"PEPSICO brands have continually shown that they have the ability to connect with consumers almost anywhere in the world. Through this launch we will ensure that the trend continues," adds El Khalil.
