  • PRESS RELEASE

Aimed at meeting a growing youthful and professional consumer market segment across the Middle East region, Motorola announces the release of the V300 mobile phone comprising the latest in wireless capabilities.

The V300 packages state-of-the-art wireless offerings into a conscientiously sporty and stylish design. The phone caters to socially active users who demand feature-rich experiences while preserving a professional posture.

Commenting on the launch of the V300, Patrick Mulligan, General Manager of Motorola's Personal Communications Sector for the Middle East and North Africa stated: "Motorola has developed the V300 wireless communication tool as an acknowledgement of the fast growing youthful segment market. They require an integrated high performance communication tool which balances fun and fashion with their need for a high standard professional phone."

At affordable prices, the V300 clamshell like design meets the market's requirements by providing enhanced color screens, downloadable ring tones, advanced messaging capabilities, integrated camera as well as unprecedented roaming.

"Compact, feature rich, affordable and good-looking, the V300 successfully marries the worlds of voice and vision. It creatively provides end users the freedom to explore new found freedoms and professional aspirations alike. The end user chooses how they want to experience their phone." Mulligan added.

Capitalizing on the high quality VGA camera, images, ring tones and Multi-Media Messaging Service, the overall experience is elevated to a new standard of sensory experiences. Through MotoMixer, users are empowered to become their own DJ, composing their own unique ring tones, and in turn playing these tones on their mobile's multi-instrument speakers. The phone allows users to compose as well as provide for MP3 supported ring tones.

"The V300's competitive advantage is freeing up the technical limitation of the past and creatively making full use of the phone's inherent capabilities" Mulligan added. The palm fitting phone enables people to share experiences in vivid color, capture moments of fun and connect with friends in a variety of modes.

The high end fashionable phone equally leverages the non-stop fun experience with professionalism. It is a powerful business assistant tool for the up-and-coming professional. With built in tri-band technology, the phone seamlessly provides communication continuity across 100 countries operating a GSM network.

The release of Motorola's latest V300 model is aimed at addressing the needs of an increasing active young professional market segment in this region. They will either upgrade their handset or purchase their first mobile phone in the upcoming months.
