Taking the 'Leaders In Dubai' stage are seven global personalities, each considered a leader in his field. They include: former Mayor New York, Rudi Giuliani; Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter; Tom Peters, the Ur-guru of management; best-selling author Frank Maguire; MIT's Professor of Management and Economics, Lester Thurow; influential futurist, Alvin Toffler and former GE Chairman and CEO Jack Welch, who will address the audience via a live satellite link.

Al Zamil, who holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington and a Finance MBA from Dhahran's King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, was selected as one of around 15 corporate leadership ambassadors for his pioneering role in industrial investment.

'These corporate ambassadors are a direct result of an initiative by the seven leadership experts due to address 'Leaders In Dubai,' said Sheena Dunne, Project Manager, Leading Minds, which is organising the event. 'The leadership platform requested that we assemble a group of the most recognised and contemporary business leaders in the Middle East to be their VIP guests at the event and to network ideas for future leadership development in the region.

'The Leaders In Dubai corporate ambassadors will represent the pinnacle of visionary leaders in Arabia,' said Dunne. 'Abdulla Al Zamil is a leading voice in the regional marketplace and this appointment recognizes that standing.'

Apart from holding numerous board positions on a variety of I.T. and industrial companies throughout the Middle East, Abdulla Al Zamil is also a member of the Executive Board of Saudi Export Development, part of the Saudi Commercial Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of
various University committees and chambers of commerce throughout the Kingdom.

'Leaders In Dubai' is expected to attract more than 1,500 business leaders when it is held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC), from November 29-30 this year.

'This event will play a pivotal role in defining leadership best practices in the Middle East,' said Al Zamil. 'It will help ensure that those who aspire to positions of great responsibility have a platform from which to operate.'

'Leaders In Dubai' will be the biggest business conference at the Dubai International Convention Centre since the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund in September 2003.
