- PRESS RELEASE
Emirates Aviation College is doubling its stand space at the forthcoming Educational & Training Exhibition to accommodate the huge interest and number of enquiries in its training programmes.
The Emirates Aviation College's stand No.150 is located in a prominent position and has a larger area of seating in response to the number of visitors in previous years who have been attracted by the range of programmes, which include Aerospace Engineering, Electronics & Computers, Tourism Management and Business Management Studies.
The programmes lead to vocational higher BTEC diplomas awarded by UK-based Edexcel Foundation. During their study, students are sent by the college on work-placements to various organisations within the UAE and abroad, in support of the vocations, technical and academic programmes.
College Principal Mohammed Al Budoor said: "We were delighted with the number of students and parents who came to enquire about our courses during last year's exhibition and quite a number of them eventually applied to the college.
"With more courses on offer this year, we anticipated a greater interest and decided to increase the stand space to accommodate more visitors."
The College also offers Air Traffic Management Training using a state-of-the-art, 3-Dimensional Air Traffic Control simulator as well as the Flight Dispatcher Course. All courses meet international standards and recommendations governed by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and Eurocontrol.
The college, in co-operation with London-based City University, has launched full Masters degree programmes for aviation professionals. The MSc. programmes in Air Transport Management and Air Safety Management are specifically for pilots, Air Traffic Controllers, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and air defence services who plan to further their careers within the industry.
