  • PRESS RELEASE

Restructuring at DHL, the world's leading air express supplier, has resulted in a new I.T. team to serve DHL UAE and its clients.

The restructuring has seen the former I.T. team divide into regional and UAE functions. The new six-strong DHL UAE team is being headed up by British/Egyptian Adel Hanna.

A 44-year-old electronics engineering graduate from London's Kingston University, Hanna joins DHL UAE from DHL UK Aviation where he spent nine years - the last four as I.T. Manager at the air express provider's East Midlands hub.

"The team is very strong indeed and includes several members of our former squad and additional talent brought in from other outposts on DHL's extensive international network," said David Wild, General Manager, DHL UAE.

Retained in the team are Business Systems Analyst, Joe Mascarenhas and front end support specialists Jameel Kottathara and James Kiarie Gachiu.

Joining the team after serving with DHL in Paris and Beirut is front end support specialist Ali Younnis and from DHL in Saudi Arabia, Network and System Administrator, Jaiwanth Kumar.

"DHL prioritises I.T. in all of its operations and continually innovates to produce customer-centric solutions which make us easy to do business with," said Wild. "Adel and his team will now follow through on this mission."
