Club Car wins Al Badia Golf Resort contract, Dubai Festival City

"Al Badia has recently purchased a range of Club Cars for different uses on their golf course which is scheduled to open in September this year - a total of 90 golf carts, 3 'Villager 6' people carriers, 2 'Turf 2' maintenance vehicles and 1 'Turf Ball Picker'," said Geoff Gladstone, general manager of Club Car in the Middle East.

"The Club Cars which Al Badia Golf Resort have purchased will be primarily used for transporting golfers around the course. The various other Club Car models have their own unique uses, including golf course maintenance and transporting larger groups of people around the extensive Al Badia Golf Resort complex. The ball picker, an integral vehicle for use in the practice area has a special collector attached to the front to collect the balls from the driving range and a 'cage' that the driver sits in for protection," he said.
