Al Fozan selects ORION as their ERP solution of choice

ICICI Infotech Middle East (MEA), a global leader in providing business management solutions announced today that Al Fozan has selected ORION, to maximize the efficiency of business processes across the Group's diverse portfolio.

ORION in conjunction with Crossroads an online and interactive Enterprise Relationship Management solution will provide Al Fozan with a complete end-to-end Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application with advanced online capabilities. This will enable employees, distributors and partners to share information across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to work together more effectively in an increasingly competitive business environment. Al Fozan is one of the largest importers of steel, wood, electrical and hardware material as well as a leading manufacturer of steel and wooden products for the Construction industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

With the rapid growth of their business, greater emphasis was placed upon availability and accurate transfer of data between the finance and operations departments hence Al Fozan quickly recognized the need for a solution that had the proven capabilities to provide such an integrated environment. The first phase of the ORION implementation will take place at Al Fozan's headquarters in Al Khobar, where as a result, all users will be experiencing increased productivity and higher efficiencies

ORION will streamline the company's business processes including sales forecasting, monitoring of costs, inventory, purchase and distribution cycles on to one centralized system. As a result, management and employees will be able to access the centralized server for key information and keep track of stock movements across all stores and warehouses. Upon the completion of phase 1 of the project, there are plans to expand the project to include implementation of ORION at all Al Fozan's other locations in KSA and other GCC countries.
