GBM Qatar showcases IBM solutions at Qatar International Hi-Tec 2004 Exhibition and Conference

The solutions showcased by GBM included the IBM eServer iSeries server, which has a unique ability to run multiple operating systems and application environments, such as Windows, OS/400, Linux, WebSphere and Domino, all on the same processor. This makes it a prime IBM solution for IT optimisation and server consolidation strategies.

IBM Content Management, IBM WebSphere Portal and IBM WebSphere Business Integration software solutions were also demonstrated during the three-day event, which united technology experts from around the world, who exchanged information on the latest advancements and breakthroughs in mass communications, electronics and other related fields in an environment of mutual help and co-operation.
