The launch of FotoZoomer, which took place at the recently concluded ColorGATE Partner event in Dubai, will soon be followed with the launch of PROOFGATE, a product with the potential to revolutionise printing and production processes.

FotoZoomer, first unveiled at Global Village during DSF 2004, is the ideal solution for print service providers, photo labs and copy shops as it is both easy to use and quick. FotoZoomer, which also offers the option for colour correction, processes files from digital camera cards, CD-ROM and analogue photo prints, via a touch screen user interface, to produce large-format prints of photo quality. What one needs to do is simply select the image you wish from the thumbnail view, crop it, resize it, add a frame or text before printing and before you know it you have high quality prints through ColorGATE printing control.

PROOFGATE, meanwhile, is a new halftone proofing solution for the easy and reliable creation of accurate contract proofs in line with media standards. In today's world where technology plays an integral part in all aspects of work, including drawing businesses across the globe closer together, PROOFGATE has a vital role in reducing pre-print production time.

PROOFGATE is an industry-leading pre-press solution, whose features include downloading a 150 MB file in just 30 seconds, viewing individual separations, unlimited number of users who can review and make changes simultaneously, which can then be refreshed to view the changes in real time.
