World leader in urban design gears up for international expansion

Dubai-based Streetscape International is a fast expanding designer and manufacturer of premier street equipment. The company has implemented the Exact Globe 2003 Enterprise solution to handle its business, financial, logistics and manufacturing requirements between its offices in the United Arab Emirates, North America, South America, and its planned offices in China and Europe.

"We wanted a total solution package that would streamline our information processes and manage the workflow between our international offices," said Joshua Abood, managing director, Streetscape International. Streetscape International's Smart pole is a sophisticated multi-function street pole, able to combine street lighting, traffic signaling, telecommunications, video surveillance and advertising in one. It is currently being installed at the Dubai Marina and in areas across the city in co-operation with Dubai Municipality.

The Exact Globe 2003 is based on the One-X concept, which allows organizations to manage their information from a single integrated database. The software also means data is always available to any user when they need it, cutting down on the duplicate data entries.
