Eqarat.com pioneers high-level real estate agents forum

The first of a quarterly series of top-level forums for the real estate sector has been held in Dubai and the event has addressed some of the most important issues in the industry.
Speakers comprised a who's who of the industry. They included Ali Al Rahma, CEO, Eqarat.com., Mohammed Safin, General Manager Eqarat.com; Ayman Hussein, Group Financial Director, Khammas Group Property Development; Tim Searle, Managing Director, Global Eye, Paul Holmes, Country Manager Norwich Union Insurance; Dilip Rahulan, Chairman and CEO, Pacific Controls Systems.
Subjects the experts covered included international property finance, real estate insurance and home automation.
Ali Al Rahma said the forum had been a "tremendous success" and similar events would be staged at regular intervals.
"There has certainly been a niche for a forum of this nature for the real estate sector. It's an initiative we are very proud of at Eqarat.com.
"We are bringing leading experts in our industry under one roof to share their knowledge with the agents who will in turn share with their respective clients."
The Eqarat.com agents forum will quickly become a byword in regional real estate. It will provide a window on the real estate industry as a whole.
"Construction, planning, finance, development - they will all come under the spotlight at our events," added Mr. Al Rahma
The next Eqarat.com forum will be held in July 2004.
